Axel Hecklau - Only UK Lecture!
Axel Hecklau has presented his lecture in more than 60 cities including New York, Philadelphia, Vienna, Rome, Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Berlin.
Axel has been a professional entertainer for over 30 years and is a well known working magician in Germany. He has competed in numerous magic competitions and received many top placed prizes including 2nd place at FISM for Great Illusions.
This lecture, with a focus on Parlour, Stage and Close-Up, contains no 'B rate material'. Everything is taken from his active repertoire and has been performed in hundreds of shows worldwide. Axel is also very well known and respected in the magic community for his past magical releases including: News Flash, Spoonaround and Cola Cap.
This is a must see lecture for anyone who enjoys thought provoking, entertaining and visual magic.
David Jay
Anyone who has seen David Jay perform can see why he is one of the world's most respected sleevers.
His greatly admired techniques have been underground for so long but we have finally convinced him to give his first ever lecture at L.A.D.s.
David will also be launching his 'Sleeve-Star' gimmick which will help you to perform effects with sleeving that seem impossible (even to magicians).
For anyone interested in learning or improving their sleeving tecniques, this lecture will be inspirational.
Nicholas Einhorn
Nicholas is a "Gold Star" member of The Inner Magic Circle with over 15 years of performing experience.
He has been voted "The Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year" twice (1996 & 2002) and was honoured with the prestigious title "The Magic Circle Centenary Close-up Magician" during their 100th birthday celebrations.
His many TV appearances include This Morning (Granada TV), RI:SE (Channel 4), Xchange (CBBC), The Dan & Dusty Show (ITV1), Test The Nation (BBC1), Watchdog (BBC1) and Brainiac (Sky One).
Nicholas is very well known amongst magicians as the inventor of Spooked and Pro Flite, which are now recognised as modern classics, and we are delighted that he will be joining us as a lecturer at the first ever L.A.D.s.
The £10 pre-registration voucher offer for L.A.D.s will close on the 15th August 2010. If you order your ticket prior to the 15th you will receive a £10 voucher for use on the World Magic Store dealer stand on the day. After the 15th, tickets will still be £10 but you will not receive a voucher. If we do have any attendance space free on the day it will cost £15 to enter.

Will there be any other events as well as the lectures?
Yes. We will be having further guest artistes on the day performing on the stage and in close-up environments. There will also be plenty of space for a drink and a session!

*I've heard that L.A.D.s is free! How does that work?
To secure a place at this event a pre-registration charge of £10 is required. This will be refunded in the form of a voucher worth £10 for the World Magic Store dealer stand on the day. The stand will be fully stocked with all the latest magic and we will even be offering 'Double Discount' on selected items meaning that your voucher could actually be worth £20. Put simply, pay £10 and get a £10 voucher back!
Why have a pre-registration fee?
Because places will be limited on the day and a pre-registration fee is more likely to discourage people from reserving a place and then failing to attend.
What can I spend my £10 voucher on?
You can use your voucher on any items in stock at L.A.D.s on the World Magic Store stand. The voucher will only be valid at L.A.D.s on the 3rd of October 2010.
When do I get my £10 voucher?
Your voucher will be issued to you on the day (3rd of October 2010) along with your badge.

Do I get a ticket?
When you pre-register you will be sent an order confirmation and an order confirmation number. Print this off and bring it to the event to gain admittance and your voucher.

L.A.D.s. will be held in the large private function room with a fully licensed bar.
