A dies is shown to have a jewel embedded in each side. A spectator is asked to hold the die in his closed fist. Next, a mahogany rod is shown. It is blank on both sides. With a mysterious gesture, the magician waves the stick over the spectator's closed fist, and it becomes filled with jewels. Upon opening his hand, the spectator finds that the jewels have disappeared from the die he had clenched in his fist!
